This is a small little bistro with wonderful staff. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. The chef Caitlyn was a delight to meet as was the owner Rob. Our server gave the daily specials and recommendations. We were going to get the lasagna per our host suggestion. But wanted to try something different. I hear the lasagna is delicious and worth the extra wait since it is made when ordered and fresh.

Pork Belly Flat Bread - appetizer

This looked amazing when it came out. You can tell right away it was going to be delicious. I've never really had pork belly before so I was sceptical but paired with feta cheese and mushrooms it was mouth watering. The flavors just danced in my mouth. I had to force myself from finishing it off before my main course.

Curry Zucchini Soup -

This soup was the special for the night. I found it very light on the curry just like my server mentioned. The flavor was delightful. Usually curry can be overwhelming but this was perfectly blended. I've never had anything like it, and believe me I am a picky eater. But I am exploring new tastes and this definitely captured my taste buds. So nicely thick and comforting sort of a bisque. I could have just curled up with a big bowl of this and be happy.

Not sure what the house bread was made of but it was nice. Not too heavy but paired well with the oil and balsamic vinegar to dip it in.

Beef Stroganoff

This dish was made for mushrooms, the nicely cut pieces of tender beef and the sauce with mushrooms was so creamy on a bed of homemade pappardelle noodles.

Butternut Ravioli

Definitely got my taste buds salivating. Made with a brown butter, mushrooms and sage leaves. Now normally I am not too big on eating mushrooms but this dish was sooo yummy. When it arrived the aroma of the sage reminded me of the autumn holidays and pumpkins

Dessert

Creme Brulee

This is one of my favorite desserts. It was made perfectly, full of flavor and oh so creamy. The sugar topping was nicely

Tiramisu

Creamy and sweet coffee liqueur flavor with just the right hint of cocoa. Would pair nicely with a cup of espresso or coffee.
