If your in the town of Pt. Reyes and feeling hungry you can stop in to the Pt. Reyes Whale of a Deli. Its a small place right at the beginning of the town's main street. They offer a few choices for food and snacks. You can get Mexican food, deli sandwiches, pizza and ice cream along with other little snacks like chips, cookies and sodas. While in town I stopped in to get a sandwich or two. Gramted their sandwiches were a bit pricey but were very good. I got three since I was traveling with friends. All the sandwiches were worth it. They didn't skimp on meat. We got three, the first was a meatball sub, then a BLT w/avacado and a Turkey w/Provolone and pesto. All were soooo good and filling. As for the staff the person who took our order was a bit short when asked if we could have the sandwiches cut in thirds. But then we figured they were a bit busy and that was an odd request. At least we had a plastic knife to fix that. Overall the sandwiches were very good. Seating was limited due to our current COVID-19 situation, but that's fine. Get you sandwich to go and find a little spot and have a picnic.
