Hamburger Mary's

Hamburger Mary's SF. Now some will find this funny, but this was my first time here. And to think I was born and raised in SF in the mission. I hung out in the Castro with friends and family. But never went to Hamburger Mary's. I always heard about how good they were. So tonight I went to see a friend perform at a drag show there. We ordered dinner while waiting for the show. I was blown away, I got a Queen Mary "naked". It was a bacon cheddar burger with grilled onions on it wrapped in lettuce. The grilled onions reminded me of french onion soup on top of the burger. It was amazing. Highly recommend it. The place was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and funny. The food came out nice and hot and fresh. This is a bar and restaurant. Sorry kids but adult only. The drag show "Catwalk" was definitely entertaining.

Hamburger Mary's is located in the heart of the Castro so parking may be difficult, but worth going to.
