Gherkins Sandwich Shop - Montara, CA

I decided to take a small drive down the coast to the Fitzgerald Tidepools (they were closed due to seals and sea lions) yesterday. Stopped at Gerkins for a bite, now this is a place for a sandiwich if your driving down that way. Nestled right on Hwy 1 on the left side if your traveling south. They have sooo many choices of sandwiches to choose from and most are toasted. Evwrytime I have gone I've never been disappointed. Big yummy sandwiches for a decent price. They also make yummy garlic fries. I got "The Cougar" this time, turkey with cranberry sauce toasted on a Dutch crunch roll. This was sooo tasty, I was only able to eat half of it and asked for a box to go. In the past I've gotten the "Cal Fire" which has chicken, avacado and pepper jack cheese. Any sandwich from here will not disappoint. Currently they offer outside dining do to the COVID-19 virus. Be aware they do get busy there so plan to order to go.
