Looking for fun things to do while this virus is happening? For those of you who are a bit older like me. Remember the Drive-in movies? Those were fun times right? Well believe it or not but they still do have some around. I believe over 300 still exist in the US alone. Three here in the SF Bay Area (San Jose, Concord and Sacramento) They are old but still going. I went to one for the first time in years. And I do mean years, my last drive-in movie was Space Jam. Yep THAT LONG AGO. These places are great during this virus they are strict to masks on outside of vehicles and keeping up with social distancing. Granted right now you need to bring your own food and snacks since the concession stands are closed for safety. But $8.25 a person for a double feature show is a pretty good deal. Most shows are old movies with some being new releases too depending on some places. But so worth the fun of getting out and doing something different. To me it was nostalgic and fun. If your part of the younger generation that hasn't experienced a drive-in movie it might be an interesting experience and change of pace from the ordinary. So if your in the SF Bay Area check out Westwind Drive-in Movie theaters.
