This was a cool place to stop for one of those touristy type places. There is a gift shop with a North American Indian museum that is amazing. The museum is free, but make sure if traveling with kids you keep them close while in the museum. There is lots of history of the different tribes. The tour of the redwoods has a small fee but worth doing while there. It has a wonderful story about Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. Plus you get to ride a sky tram to the top of the redwood canopy, then you go through a section with beautiful wood carvings about Paul Bunyan.
